Application of nanodiamonds in human body fluid analysis by matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization mass spectrometry

Direct mass spectrometric analysis of complex biological samples is very important and challenging. In this paper, nanodiamonds have been successfully used in matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization mass spectrometric analysis of human serum and urine. As a practical tool and platform, it can be widely used in the field of humoral proteomics, and it plays a very promising role in clinical diagnosis, including identification of novel disease-associated biomarkers.     

化学化工虚拟仿真实验教学平台的建设与应用

Virtual simulation teaching is a new type of teaching mode in recent years, which is a fusion of multiple disciplines, multiple regions and multi-level laboratory teaching methods. Taking virtual simulation experiment platform construction of chemical engineering in Tianjin University as an example, this paper introduces the chemical safety knowledge, the integration of theoretical knowledge, the experimental content, the specific content of virtual simulation resources, and the characteristic of virtual simulation experiment platform. This platform provides a new model of efficient combination of virtual simulation resources and traditional teaching resources, which promotes the development of chemical laboratory teaching.

研测动态问题的旋转孔径散斑照相法Ⅱ:矩位、平四位、直三位孔径

本文提出了旋转孔径散斑照相法中三种新颖的基本孔径:矩位孔、平四位孔和直三位孔,进行了理论分析和实验证明。采用新孔径拍摄散斑照相,散斑信息利用率高,衍射晕能量分布合理,信噪比提高,因而散斑条纹清晰度得到改善,相应的实验误差减小。     

On the rotating Navier-Stokes equations with mixed boundary conditions

The stationary and nonstationary rotating Navier-Stokes equations with mixed boundary conditions are investigated in this paper. The existence and uniqueness of the solutions are obtained by the Galerkin approximation method. Next, θ-scheme of operator splitting algorithm is applied to rotating Navier-Stokes equations and two subproblems are derived. Finally, the computational algorithms for these subproblems are provided.     

A convective weakly viscoelastic rotating flow with pressure Neumann condition

The objective of this work is to investigate through the numeric simulation, the effects of the weakly viscoelastic flow within a rotating rectangular duct subject to a buoyancy force due to the heating of one of the walls of the duct. A direct velocity–pressure algorithm in primitive variables with a Neumann condition for the pressure is employed. The spatial discretization is made with finite central differences on a staggered grid. The pressure field is directly updated without any iteration. Numerical simulations were done for several Weissemberg numbers (We) and Grashof numbers (Gr) . The numerical results show that for high Weissemberg numbers (We>7.4 × 10^?5) and for ducts with aspect ratio 2:1 and 8:1, the secondary flow is restabilized with a stretched double vortex configuration. It is also observed that when the Grashof number is increased (Gr>17 × 10^?4) , the buoyancy force neutralizes the effects of the Coriolis force for ducts with aspect ratio 8:1. Thin viscous fluid film flows over rotating curvilinear surfaces

Thin viscous fluid film flows over rotating curvilinear surfaces are considered. The steady-state flow is studied for large and finite Ekman numbers. The possibility of obtaining a film of given thickness is considered. The wave formation on the surface of an inhomogeneous film and the development of nonlinear waves are also investigated. The film flow parameters in the cases of flow over a plane disk and a curvilinear surface are compared.     

Spectrum planning and performance evaluation between heterogeneous satellite networks

A new network has been recently proposed for the provision of fixed broadband services via high altitude platform stations (HAPS) in the 48/47 GHz band. One of the critical issues of this technology is spectrum sharing with the fixed satellite service. This paper examines the effect of Earth-to-stratosphere co-channel interference produced by ground stations of HAPS network to geostationary orbit (GEO) satellite receivers and proposes an interference-to-noise (I/N) calculation model for the evaluation of the current HAPS ground stations power characteristics set by ITU-R. Analytical and simulation results for archetypal systems in realistic scenarios indicate that efficient use of the spectrum shared between heterogeneous HAPS and Fixed Satellite Networks is feasible. Certain consideration is needed prior to the HAPS network development in suburban areas for latitudes from 55° to 65°, and in rural areas for latitudes from 60° to 75°.     

The limiting current of electrochemical reaction in the binary electrolyte in the rotating electrochemical cell

A rotating cylindrical electrochemical cell with a plane ring electrode on its cover containing a binary electrolyte was considered. The equation for the diffusion limiting current density on the ring electrode was derived ignoring the effect of Coriolis force. The solution of transfer equations by the Karman method at the limiting current in the cell allowed us to analyze the effect of Coriolis force on the boundary layer thickness and to determine the conditions, under which the Coriolis force may be ignored.
